The Golf Course- The Vintage Golf Club is located in the Hunter Valley, just over two and a half hours north of Sydney. Golf Australia magazine rated the course as number 40 in the nation’s top 100 courses. It consistently ranks high among the best courses in Australia.
The Greg Norman designed layout features many outstanding holes including the 3rd, 7th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 15th and 18th. The course overlooks the rolling vineyards and manicured fairways. Golfers say there is no such thing as a bad round at The Vintage, just an occasional bad score.
The hotel is located approximately within a three-hour drive of Sydney Airport (SYD) and just a one-hour drive from Newcastle Airport (NTL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

- McLeish Estate Cellar Door is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. Bookings are essential for the included wine and cheese tasting, please contact McLeish Estate directly to book, at (02) 4998 7754.
- The Hunter Valley Cheese Factory tasting runs daily at 11am. Tastings include five handmade cheeses with a variety of complimentary crackers, souvenir tasting notes and a Q&A with an expert. Bookings are essential, please contact Hunter Valley Cheese directly to book, at (02) 4998 7744.
- The included glass of wine consists of a house wine of the guest’s choosing, served at Spike Bar from 11.30am to 9pm Thursday to Monday, and 11.30am to 6pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Non-drinkers are welcome to switch their house wine to a complimentary soft drink.
- Hunter Distillery is open seven days a week with tastings between 10am and 2pm. Bookings are essential for the included spirits tasting, please contact Hunter Distillery directly to book. Tasting excludes Aged Spirits and Silk Range. Pre-book online using promotional code LuxEscCE25, or by calling (02) 4998 6737. Redemption only applicable on the presentation of the inclusion voucher.
- The 25% discount on green fees at The Vintage Golf Course can be used for a maximum of two rounds per person, per stay. Rounds must be booked in advance.
- The spa discount can only be applied to one individual treatment per person of 50+ minutes and cannot be combined or exchanged for cash. A 15% surcharge is applied to treatments booked on Sundays and public holidays. It is not redeemable on the Indulgence Treatment Upgrade package.
