A Mystery Flight-also searched online as Secret Flying or a Flying Secret is a spontaneous, same-day adventure. Your flights depart and return on the same day, giving you the ultimate quick-escape experience to a surprise Australian destination.
How do Mystery Flights work?
The magic of a mystery flight is the anticipation! You choose your departure date, and our team will notify you within 6 hours of your approximate departure and arrival times—keeping the final destination a complete secret.
Your travel documents and itinerary will be emailed 3 days before you depart. If you want to keep the destination a true surprise, keep the documents closed until you arrive at your departing airport terminal!

No. Checked baggage is not included for Mystery Flights. Your allowance is 7kg of carry-on luggage per person, which is perfect for a one-day adventure.
Can I select or exclude a specific destination?
No. You cannot pick your final destination, but you can select one airport to exclude from your possible destinations.
How long will I have at my mystery destination?
We guarantee a minimum of six hours at your mystery location, giving you ample time to explore, dine, and discover the city’s charm before your return flight.
Can I buy a Mystery Flight gift voucher?
Yes. Gift Vouchers can be purchased for all of our products or a dollar value.
How long is a gift voucher valid?
Our Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, giving the recipient plenty of time to redeem their voucher.
Can a gift voucher be changed?
Yes, Gift Vouchers can be extended or upgraded. The recipient pays the difference between the Gift Voucher value and the cost of the updated getaway.
How do gift vouchers’ redemption work?
The recipient visits our online portal, enters their unique voucher code, and chooses their travel dates or alternatively emails our friendly team at sales@mysteryweekendgetaways.com.au.

A Mystery Weekend Getaway (also known as a Mystery Holiday, Mystery Booking, or Secret Holiday) is a 1-4-night package that bundles together your return flights, private transfers, handpicked accommodation with exclusive bonus perks.

Yes. All mystery weekend getaways include 1 piece (23kg) checked baggage plus 7kg of carry-on luggage per person. - What bonuses are included in your getaway?
All 1- & 2-Night getaways includes return Economy flights, checked baggage, hand-picked accommodation, and your choice of private car transfers or a rental car for the duration of your getaway.
All 3- & 4-Night getaways include the above plus extra hand-picked bonuses:

- Superior Getaways: Include a minimum of 2 perks (e.g. room upgrades, late checkout, free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, or a welcome drink).
- Luxury Getaways: Include a minimum of 3 perks (e.g. room upgrades, late checkout, bar/restaurant credits, free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, a welcome drink, or local experience tickets). Perks are determined by the accommodation provider and cannot be requested.
How will I get from the airport to my accommodation?
We include private car transfers from the airport to your accommodation to ensure a smooth, speedy, and stress-free arrival. Our competitors use transfers on a “seat-in-coach” (SIC) basis, where you may wait up to an hour for a shared bus that may stop at multiple hotels. Our private transfers meet all flights.
