Q1.   Which airlines are used?

Our airline partners are Qantas, Jetstar or Virgin Australia-We DO NOT use Tiger Airways.

Q2.   Are flights direct or connecting?

Where possible we will confirm direct flights, however, sometimes you may be booked on a flight that connects in another city enroute to/from your destination, the connecting time will be 2 hours or less.

Q3.   What hotels will I be staying with?

Our accommodation partners include Holiday Inn, Rydges, Grand Chancellor, Stamford, Rendezvous brands and many more.

Q4.   What is an Extended Motor Vehicle Warranty?

An extended warranty gives you the chance to extend your original manufacturer's warranty for an additional period of time.

There are a range of extended warranty products available at a range of different prices, but each of these warranties also comes with different conditions and inclusions. Ideally, your extended warranty coverage should cover a wide range of your vehicle's components for mechanical and electrical failure. Other services such as roadside assistance may also be available.

Tip: It's important to fully read and understand the terms of extended warranty coverage to ensure value for money, and confirm any queries in writing.

Q5.   Can I select my destination

No, Mystery weekend Getaways and Mystery Day Trip destinations are a mystery. However, you may nominate one destination you do NOT wish to be flown to. This will be excluded as a possibility. Canberra is automatically excluded for Sydney departures (unless requested). Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ballina/Byron Bay and Fraser Coast are automatically excluded for Brisbane departures (unless requested).

Q6.   When will I be advised of my destination?

Within 72 hours of receipt of payment you will be sent an email advising the approximate departure time of your outbound flight and the approximate arrival time of your inbound flight; your destination will be kept as a mystery until your receive your Mystery Weekend Getaway or Mystery Day Trip travel documents. Your Mystery Weekend Getaway or Mystery Day trip documents will be sent to you. 2-3 days prior to your departure which will show a full itinerary where your destination will be revealed.

Q7.   What time will I be departing and returning?

Your departure will be between 6am and 12 noon. Your returning flight will depart between 12 noon and 10pm.

Q8.   How long will I have in my destination when using Mystery day trip?

For Mystery Daytrips we guarantee a minimum of 6 hours at your destination.

Q9.   Do Mystery Weekend Escapes include baggage fees (where applicable)?

Yes, all one, two and three night Mystery Weekend Escapes include up to 20kgs of checked baggage. If you have more than 20kgs of luggage you will need to pay the airline directly at check-in.

Q10.   Do Mystery Day trips include baggage fees (where applicable)?

No Mystery Weekend Escapes only include seven (7) kg of carryon baggage (airline size limits apply).

Q11.   Are transfers from destination airport to my accommodation included?

Yes, transfers are included with Mystery Weekend Escapes 1, 2 & 3 night package. Transfers are generally on a seat-in-coach basis. Your Mystery Weekend Escapes itinerary shows full details of your transfers.

Q12.   What are the discounts offered for children travelling with me?

For children under 2, the cost is $20 travelling with an adult on a Mystery Weekend Escapes 1, 2 & 3 night package. There is no charge for children under 2 years of age travelling with an adult on a Mystery Day Trip. For children over 2 years of age the prices are the same as for adults.

Q13.   Can I change my booking after payment has been made?

Atleast 72 hours before departure

Yes, you may change your package subject to payment of $50.00 change fee plus any amendment fees charged by our airline partners and accommodation partners. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.

Within 48 hours of departure

No, unfortunately within 72 hours your booking is non-refundable and non-changeable. We strongly advise that you take out travel insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.

Q14.   What if I cannot travel?

Unfortunately, there is no refund should you be unable to travel. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.

Q15.   What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

You will need to liase with the airline directly and advise us as soon as you are advised of the delay or cancellation.

Q16.   When must I check-in at my departure airport?

You may check-in online atleast 24 hours before departure or at the departure airport atleast 60 minutes prior to departure.

Q17.   What time am I able to check-in at my accommodation?

Hotel check in is generally 200pm check out time is generally 10am. You may wish to check these with your accommodation or transfer provider; contact numbers for your hotel and transfer companies will be provided in your Mystery Weekend Escapes folder.

Q18.   Is there an additional “single supplement” if I travel by my self?

Yes. The prices of our Mystery Weekend Escapes are based on twin share accommodation. There is a supplement of $75 per night which is applicable to anyone travelling on their own, or if you require your own room.

There is no supplement when using Mystery Day Trips.

Q19.   Is there a fee or surcharge to pay by credit or debit card?

No, we do not charge a fee or surcharge for any credit card or debit card payments.

Q20.   How do I pay for my booking if I wish to use Internet Banking or send a cheque?

For internet banking-full details are included on “booking” page.

For cheque payments- within 24 hours of making your booking you will be sent an invoice showing mailing address to forward your payment.

Q21.   How do I make my payment using my gift voucher?

Simply place your gift voucher number on the booking form.

How do I make my payment using more than one Gift Voucher?

Either call one of our friendly team or place the additional Gift Voucher numbers in comments box on booking form.

Q22.   Can I earn Frequent Flyer points on my chosen package?

Yes, provide us with your Frequent Flyer details when booking you program and we will advise our airline partners and accommodation partners. You will need to contact your program customer service team to confirm your points have been credited.

Q23.   Is travel Insurance necessary?

You will need to liase with the airline directly and advise us as soon as you are advised of the delay or cancellation.

Q24.   How long are gift vouchers valid?

Your gift Voucher is valid for 1 year from date of issue unless otherwise stated.
